- Markup: Profit is shown as a percentage added on top of costs.
-
Job’s Total Revenue Considered for Calculating Job Profitability (This field decides what Zuper uses as revenue when calculating job profitability).
- Sum of Accepted Quote Values Associated with the Job (recommended): Revenue is calculated using the total value of accepted quotes linked to the job. This option enables the Projected versus Actual profitability view to compare your quote against actual job costs.
- Sum of Selling Price of Job Line Items: Revenue is calculated using the selling prices of parts, products, and services added to the job line items.
- (Optional) The Specialized Labor Service field is disabled by default. When enabled, labor services quantity and their pricing are automatically calculated based on the technician’s working hours on the respective job. This is particularly useful for Time and Material billing scenarios. For more detailed guidance, refer to the Labor Service and the Calculating Job Profitability: Time and Material Billing guides.
